FLEET: UBC is situated in The Fabric of Campus Fibre Garden, an innovative community-focused project at UBC Vancouver. The garden is a living lab producing local textiles in a vibrant outdoor research site. FLEET is excited to partner with this initiative and support interactive and interdisciplinary projects - including sustainable textiles, while also serving as a public community hub that addresses climate resilience and decolonization. Join us for a FLEET Open House! Construction of studios one and two is currently underway on Granville Island. Come visit, say hello, and learn more about what is happening with FLEET in the coming months. Coffee, Tea, and refreshments will be provided.
